Women's Inter Club - Double Rink

Description

INTER CLUB DOUBLE RINKS COMPETITION    

Except in the Final, one Rink shall play at home and one Rink on the opponents green on the fixed dates at 2.00 pm, 24 hours grace being allowed if the green is not avaialble.  If durign play the green is closed by the groundsman due to adverse weather conditions, this game is suspended.   Should the green at the other venue remain playable, that game is to continue.  The suspended game will be resumed on a date, by mutual consent, within the next 6 (six) days.   If a date cannot be agreed the Zone Competition Secretary shall set a date.

In the event of the green of one Club, being unavailable, the team that would have played on that green shall play on a neutral green arranged by the Committee.   This would only happen if the game could not be mutually rearranged within the previous 24 hours.

The game shall consist of 18 ends (2 bowls each player), but an extra end must be played on the green of the Challenger ONLY, the points of this end to count in the event of a tie in the game proper.  

The winning club will hold for the ensuing season the Silver Challenge Cup presented by Mr John Hooson.   The Kiyy Hooson Memorial Cup.
